AS Automation Services ("we," "our," or "us") is a sole proprietorship operated by Arron Smithson in Bossier City, Louisiana. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data. Questions? Email smithsonarron@gmail.com.
01What We Collect
- Client business contact information — name, business name, email address, and phone number for each client who engages us. Collected via our intake form or email correspondence.
- Lead data forwarded from client websites — when a visitor submits a form on a client's website, the form data (typically name, phone, email, and a short description of the request) is routed through our system so we can deliver the alert to our client. We are a processor of this data on behalf of our client.
- SMS phone numbers with consent — for clients who enroll in the Email + SMS tier, the specific mobile number authorized in the signed Scope of Work (see our SMS Consent & Messaging Policy).
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store or have access to full card numbers. We receive a transaction record (amount, date, last four digits) from Stripe.
- Basic operational logs — timestamps and delivery status of each alert, kept to verify the service is working and to troubleshoot problems.
02How We Use It
- To deliver the lead-alert service — route form submissions to our client's email and, for the SMS tier, to the authorized mobile number.
- To contact clients about their account — billing, delivery, scheduled maintenance, support replies, and renewal.
- To fix problems — investigate failed deliveries, diagnose issues reported by clients, and verify system health.
- To meet legal obligations — tax records, consent records, and responses to lawful requests.
We do not use your data for marketing to third parties. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
03Who We Share With
We share only the minimum data needed with these service providers:
- Twilio — for SMS delivery (Email + SMS tier only). Twilio receives the destination phone number and the message body.
- Google (Gmail) — for outbound email delivery of lead alerts and client correspondence.
- Stripe — for payment processing. Stripe handles all card data directly under its own privacy policy.
We do not share your data with any third party for marketing, advertising, or analytics. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
04Data Retention
We retain lead data that flows through our system for as long as the client is active plus 90 days, so we can troubleshoot recent deliveries and provide records if a client asks. After that window, we delete or anonymize it. Client account records (billing, signed Scope of Work, consent records) are retained for up to seven years to meet tax and consent-recordkeeping obligations. SMS opt-out records are retained indefinitely so we do not accidentally re-enroll a number that has opted out.
05Your Rights
You can:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct — ask us to fix information that is inaccurate.
- Delete — ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Opt out of SMS — reply STOP to any message, or email us. See the SMS Consent & Messaging Policy.
- Complain — contact us first; we aim to resolve all concerns directly.
To exercise any of these rights, email smithsonarron@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
06Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards — limited-access credentials, encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), and a small operational footprint — to protect the data we handle. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach that affects you, we will notify affected clients promptly.
07Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will post a new effective date at the top of this page and notify active clients by email.
